It is so close from home; but it is true that the visit itself is a real journey. In fact, as they themselves say, it is a unique immersive experience. And it is for many things.<\/p>\n<p>It is located in the middle of one of the most emblematic streets of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmatest.com\/en\/resultat\/?wpv-category=&wpv-wpcf-pais=Spain&wpv-wpcf-provincia-estat=Barcelona&wpv-wpcf-poblacio-zona=Barcelona\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barcelona<\/a>: <strong>Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia<\/strong>. It was the street that linked <strong>Barcelona<\/strong> with <strong>Vila de Gr\u00e0cia<\/strong> (today, it is already another neighborhood in the city). When Pla Cerd\u00e0 was approved in 1860, Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia became its main axis. The main families of the Catalan bourgeoisie are building their residences here and, little by little, the street becomes a busy promenade.<\/p>\n<p>Josep Batll\u00f3, a textile industrialist and businessman, gave <strong>Antoni Gaud\u00ed<\/strong> complete freedom to destroy the house. It was the latter who decided to do \"only\" a total reform in two years. He changed the fa\u00e7ade and redistributed the interior partitions, achieving a functional house and a work of art at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>In the 1950s, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casabatllo.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casa Batll\u00f3<\/a> ceased to belong to the Batll\u00f3 family. It is not until the 1990s that it passes into the hands of the current owners, who did a complete reform and open the house to the city.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who knows me knows that I am an admirer of <strong>Gaud\u00ed<\/strong>. I have visited almost all of his works; but I have to say that this is relevant to know Modernism in general and the genius in particular. When visited, it is understood why it is a <strong>UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The visit must be done with calm. It is necessary to observe and live the different spaces understanding what was at that time. Each space has its charm; but there are three amazing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Planta Noble<\/strong>: the mixture of majesty and functionality amazed me and more knowing the time in which it was built. The room is beautiful, but being able to see Passeig de Gracia from that perspective is awesome.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Golfes<\/strong>: the simplicity and charm of the space made me fall in love.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gaud\u00ed Dome<\/strong>: immersive experience that takes you back to nature, the source of inspiration for all of Gaud\u00ed's works. This is the area that surprised me the most, because it is the one I least expected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Obviously, the other spaces cannot be left out. The terrace, the stairs, the other rooms... everything is amazing. Any corner is awesome. Just for this reason, I recommend making the visit calmly, so as not to miss a single detail. It is open every day from 09:00am to 08:15pm.<\/p>\n<p>One of the coolest experiences is going to the <strong>Nits M\u00e0giques<\/strong>. It is the perfect plan to discover <strong>Casa Batll\u00f3<\/strong> and see an exclusive moment at the same time. They are open-air concerts that can be enjoyed with a glass of cava in hand. There are three types of tickets: blue, silver and gold. Different prices for different content. It is interesting to review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casabatllo.es\/venta-entradas\/visita-noches-magicas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">musical proposal<\/a>. There are R&amp;B artists, Jazz, Pop, Blues, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Another of the important moments of the house is the <strong>Day of Sant Jordi<\/strong> <strong>(April 23)<\/strong>. It is a very important day in <strong>Catalonia<\/strong> where love is celebrated represented with books and roses. The city takes to the streets and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casabatllo.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casa Batll\u00f3<\/a> dresses up. The facade is decorated with red roses leaving a awesome image immortalized by millions of people. Leaving aside this specific day, the legend of Sant Jordi is present in the house in different spaces: the balcony of the princess in the highest part of the fa\u00e7ade, the sword of Sant Jordi and the dragon on the terrace, the bones and the skulls also on the fa\u00e7ade, the tail of the dragon in the hall, etc. Everything has a meaning. Amazing.<\/p>\n<p>In the store there is a space dedicated to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thekafkaatelier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kafka<\/a> with very cute things! These are unique designer jewelry collections! I already have more than 5 pieces! Addicted!<\/p>\n<p>Go to the restaurant \"<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mandarinoriental.com\/en\/barcelona\/passeig-de-gracia\/dine\/moments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moments<\/a>\" of <strong>Raul Balam Ruscalleda<\/strong>, son of <strong>Carme Ruscalleda<\/strong>. It has two <a href=\"https:\/\/guide.michelin.com\/es\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michelin<\/a> stars, it is very close and, for me, it is one of the best in the city.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.casabatllo.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casa Batll\u00f3<\/a> is an icon of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kmatest.com\/en\/resultat\/?wpv-category=&wpv-wpcf-pais=Spain&wpv-wpcf-provincia-estat=Barcelona&wpv-wpcf-poblacio-zona=Barcelona\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barcelona<\/a>, a special place that offers the opportunity to live a unique moment in a historic space.
